Madonna delle Nevi
SINALUNGA
It was built during the second half of the XVIIth century. The plastered construction, exhibits an imposing brick portal with an interrupted spandrel and with angular pilasters that support a triangular terminal brick spandrel . It’s preceded by a large gate, dated early 20th century. In the terminal part of the roof stands a charming brick bell tower, with a triangular section, with a lantern on top flanked by three pyramids. The single nave interior has in the counter facade a choir with a precious XVIIIth century organ, while on the side walls there are two coeval stucco altars with sophisticated decorations. An interesting terracotta bas relief representing a “Madonna with Child and Angels “ is preserved therein.It was built during the second half of the XVIIth century.
