The Residenza del Borgo is located in the historical center of Scrofiano, a small medieval village which overlooks the Val di Chiana and the hills of Siena. Walking through the narrow streets of Scrofiano, visitors can enjoy the ancient medieval appearance of the place.
In an ancient convent with a tower dating back to 1100, seven wonderful apartments have been restored and renovated. Each apartment is refined in every detail in good taste: frescoes dating back to the XVIIIth century, wooden beams, fireplaces and furnished in Tuscan style. All apartments are provided with air conditioning/heating, sat-tv, bathrooms with shower and well equipped kitchens. From each apartment you can enjoy an amazing view on the countryside.
The Residenza del Borgo is a very good point of departure to visit famous towns as Florence, Siena, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pienza, Rapolano Terme and Cortona.
Available to guests: out-door swimming pool, restaurant and public car parking.
Accomodation: 24 beds.

THE APARTMENTS ARE:
1. Sodello: on the ground floor, approx 67 mq, with indipendent access, a double room, a single room, a large living room provided with a double sofa-bed, kitchenette, bathroom with shower. View on the square and the garden.
2. La Porta: on the ground floor approx 42 mq with indipendent access, a single room, living room provided with a double sofa-bed, kitchenette, bathroom with shower and large terrace with a view on the countryside.
3. Il Cassero: on the first floor approx, 72 mq, with entrance from the common hall and the ancient indoor staircase. Double room, single room, large living room provided with a double sofa-bed, fireplace, kitchen, bathroom with shower, large panoramic terrace. Original 18th century frescoes on the ceilings.
4. Cacciaconti: on the first floor, approx 66 mq., double room, living-room provided with a double sofa-bed, fireplace and 18th century frescoes, kitchen, bathroom with shower, balcony.
5. Carlo V: on the second floor approx 59 mq. Double room, single room, kitchenette, large living-room provided with a double sofa-bed, bathroom with shower.
6. Granduca Leopoldo: on the second floor approx 66 mq.
