Torre campanaria di Pulcinella
MONTEPULCIANO
The short Pulcinella Bell Tower rises in front of Saint Augustine’s Church. On top of it ,a metal covered wooden statue, connected ,through a mechanism, to a clock below, strikes the time. On the right, looking at the tower, there are two parallel streets: Ruga di Mezzo (originally Arts Street) and Ruga di Fuori (originally Guerrazzi Street) in the ancient district of terraced houses, that present a typical Medieval structure. In this place the manufacturing and producing activities were located. The short Pulcinella Bell Tower rises in front of Saint Augustine’s Church.
