Chiesa Santa Maria Assunta
SAN CASCIANO DEI BAGNI
This church dates back to 1564. The facade is taller than the roof and it has a well proportioned frontal that creates movement. The church has three entrance doors: the central one had a terracotta lunette, dated 1937, representing the Madonna. It was removed to enlarge the door. A terracotta rose window elegantly embellishes the facade. The interior, with three naves, is Baroque. The church has a square plan, with two lateral chapels halfway through the length of the naves, the inset altars of these chapels are dedicated to the Madonna of the Rosary and to Saint Anthony of Padua. This church dates back to 1564.
