STRUCTURE DESCRIPTION

While trying to escape from the cahotic everyday life of the city, my husband and I found this amazing farm-house where it is said that the grand duke of Tuscany used to stay during the shooting season.
With the help of our families we decided to restore the farm-house without spoiling the atmosphere and the flavour of the good old days that we fell in love with.
The idea to start a bed&breakfast came easily in mind in spite of its realization but we didn't let all of this discourage us and when you'll see this place you'll know why!
This farm-house is located in the beautiful Val di Chiana and it is surrounded by a one hectare park delimited by 3 wonderful centuries old oak-trees where, if you look closely, you'll see very busy squirrels running up and down. Oak-trees and cypresses frame the hillock on top of which the farm-house rises isolating it from the outside world without cutting it out from it, in fact only 5 km (4miles) separates us from the centre of Chiusi, cradle of the Etruscan culture, and within minutes you'll get to the autostrada (motorway) A1 Milano-Roma from where you'll easily reach Firenze, Roma, Arezzo,Siena, Cortona and, in Umbria, Perugia, Todi, Assisi, Deruta with its peculiar ceramics, Montecastello di Vibio with its smallest Theatre in the world.
We are also close to Montepulciano, to the romantic Pienza and to Sarteano with its medieval feasts only to mention a few of the numerous villages you'll find in the surroundings that are classified as "the most beautiful in Italy".We can't forget of course the spa of Chianciano, San Casciano ai Bagni and Rapolano Terme.                                                                                                                                                                                    We have 5 cozy rooms, all of which are furnished with taste and provided with private bathroom with shower.Latex mattresses will guarantee a fine night sleep and a great reawakening.Every room opens on to a charming hall with an ancient and romantic fire-place.
In the morning, home made cakes, muesli, cereals, fruit, juices, bread and jam, eggs, ham, different tea blands and the scent of freshly made coffee will wake you up for breakfast.
When the weather gets warmer you'll have the chance to relax near the swimming pool in the privacy of our park.In the evening you can enjoy the sun setting on the hill of Montepulciano.
For all the horse lovers, within a km from here, there's a riding schoolI, if you're interested we can arrange horse riding in the surrounding even if it's your first time on a saddle!
If you like to play golf tell us...we have an interesting agreement with the Golf Club Val di Chiana, a high standard club in the tuscan countryside.
