town of Montepulciano.
The life of Saint Victorinus is closely linked to that of his brother San Severino. Like him, in fact, to be perfectly followed the call of Christ and sold everything he owned to distribute the proceeds to the poor.
To give themselves entirely to God and to isolate most of the world, he left after a few years his brother and fled to the caves of Saint Eustace, where they will be built a Benedictine monastery, and the mountains of Camerino (MC).
Victim of strong temptations, imposed a harsh and painful penance dangled his body to a tree with his hands clasped between two branches until the brother went to rescue him.
When he died in 538, the inhabitants of Pioraco picked with great reverence, his remains, the devoted their church and elected him as the patron of their city
